What to Expect

Join us for an engaging afternoon filled with exciting STEM activities designed specifically for children aged 5 to 12. STEM UP! encourages young minds to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on puzzles and experiments. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to learn independently while having fun.

Each session is packed with creative challenges that inspire curiosity and problem-solving skills. Whether your child is a budding scientist or just loves to tinker, these activities are tailored to spark their imagination and build confidence.

Activity Details

STEM UP! sessions run once a month on Tuesdays from 16:00 to 17:00, starting from 29 April through to 18 November 2025. The program is free and open to all children aged 5-12, with no bookings required – just drop in!

The activities include a variety of puzzles and experiments that cover different STEM topics each month, ensuring a fresh and exciting experience every time. Parents can enjoy some downtime while their kids engage in meaningful, educational play.

This after-school program is perfect for families looking to enrich their children's learning outside the classroom in a fun and interactive way.

Location and Access

The sessions take place at Sans Souci Library, located at 104 Russell Avenue, Sans Souci. The library is easily accessible by public transport and has ample parking nearby.

The venue is family-friendly with accessible facilities to ensure a comfortable visit for all attendees. It’s a welcoming space where children can freely explore and learn.

Feel free to arrive a little early to browse the library’s extensive collection or stay after the session to enjoy the community space.

Please note that no prior booking is necessary for this event; drop-ins are warmly welcomed. The program is designed for children aged 5-12, so please ensure your child falls within this age range to get the most from the activities.

Parents or guardians are encouraged to stay on-site during the session for supervision and support. All materials and resources are provided free of charge.
