What to Expect
Get ready for an unforgettable cycling experience as you ride through fields of vibrant sunflowers in the Scenic Rim. This event offers a rare opportunity to cycle amidst a million sunflowers, perfect for capturing stunning photos and making lasting memories with family and friends.
After the sunflower ride, enjoy a scenic 15km route through adjoining farms and countryside roads with minimal elevation, suitable for gravel bikes, mountain bikes, and legal e-bikes. The ride is designed to be accessible and enjoyable rather than challenging.
Following the ride, immerse yourself in the lively Sunflower Festival, a beloved local event attracting thousands each day. Your ride ticket includes guaranteed entry to the festival, where you can explore stalls, entertainment, and add-on experiences if you wish.

The event runs over three separate days: Friday 1 May, Saturday 2 May, and Sunday 3 May 2026. Each day is identical, and participants may only book one day due to high demand. Each day is limited to 50 riders, with a maximum of four tickets per booking to accommodate family and friends.
Registration opens at 6:15 AM, with riders required to arrive by 6:45 AM for check-in. The ride starts promptly at 7:00 AM and runs until approximately 3:00 PM. The route includes a sunflower farm ride followed by a 15km countryside loop on farm tracks, gravel, and bitumen roads.
All participants must complete a waiver prior to the event, which is part of the registration process. Refunds are available up to 14 days before the event.
