What to Expect
This welcoming program is designed specifically for Chinese-speaking seniors aged 55 and over who want to improve their digital skills. Whether you're new to smartphones, Android tablets, or iPads, these sessions offer patient, hands-on support to help you feel confident navigating your device.
Each month, participants gather in a friendly environment where questions are encouraged and learning is paced to suit everyone. It's a great way to stay connected with family and friends through technology.

Activity Details
The sessions occur every third Thursday of the month from 14:00 to 16:00, running until December 17, 2026. You only need to register once to attend all sessions throughout the year.
This is a free event, but bookings are essential and can be made online. The program is exclusive to library members who are Chinese-speaking seniors aged 55 years or older.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure the sessions start promptly and to avoid missing any part of the class.
Location and Access
All sessions take place at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. The library is committed to accessibility and inclusion, so if you have any special requirements, you can contact the library to arrange support.
The venue is easy to reach by public transport and offers a welcoming space for learning and community engagement.
Important Information
Participants must be 55 years or older and from a Chinese-speaking background. Library membership is required but free and can be completed online.
Please note that late arrivals cannot be admitted to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees. The event follows Covid-safe protocols to protect everyone’s health.

Booking and Prices
This is a free program, but booking is essential through Eventbrite. Only one registration per person is required to attend all sessions until the end of December 2026.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket to allow others to participate.
