Dive into the enchanting world of puppetry with 'A Little Bit of Blue,' an interactive environmental detective story featuring the fascinating bowerbird. This show is perfect for families eager to explore nature through storytelling.
Following the show, unleash your creativity in the Puppetry of Paper workshop, where children and parents alike can craft unique paper puppets and learn traditional Bunraku-style puppetry techniques.
Both activities are designed to engage children aged 3 and up, encouraging teamwork, imagination, and a deeper appreciation for Australian wildlife.
The day begins with the puppet show at 10:00, followed by the workshop at 11:30. The show lasts approximately 45 minutes, while the workshop offers hands-on experience in making and performing with paper puppets.
The workshop accommodates up to 20 children (excluding adults), with a strong recommendation for parental participation, especially for children under 6.
Tickets are $10 for the show and $25 for the workshop, with children under 1 year admitted free to the show. Please note that tickets are non-refundable, and bookings are essential.
