Get ready for an adrenaline-packed day where your kids can experience the thrill of racing on specially designed go karts just for them. This fun-filled activity is perfect for children aged 5 to 10 years and promises to be a highlight of the winter holidays. The event encourages friendly competition and physical activity in a safe, supervised environment.
Children will race around a giant inflatable track, putting their pedal power to the test while making new friends and enjoying the outdoors. Safety helmets are encouraged to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all participants.
The sessions are designed to group children by similar size and weight, enhancing fairness and fun. Parents can relax knowing their kids are in good hands with experienced supervisors.
The event takes place on Friday, 17 July 2026, with four separate sessions available: 10:00-10:45, 11:00-11:45, 12:00-12:45, and 13:00-13:45. Each session lasts 45 minutes, giving plenty of time for kids to race and enjoy the activity.
This program is tailored for primary school children aged 5-10 years, with a focus on skill-appropriate grouping. Registration is essential as spaces are limited and bookings operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parents or guardians must be present on site during the activity, and children must be able to transfer into a seated position low to the ground. The event is free for City of Ryde residents, with a $5 fee for non-residents.
The event is held at Brush Farm Park, located at 2 Lawson Street, Eastwood, NSW 2122. The meeting point is the Brush Farm Netball Courts.
Access to Brush Farm Park is somewhat limited via public transport, but there are disability parking spaces available. Note that access to the event location may require the use of stairs, though the general area is accessible via a smooth surfaced path.
Parents are advised to consider accessibility needs when planning their visit. The venue strives to be inclusive and supportive for all participants.
Registrations are mandatory to participate, and additional waivers may be required. Parents must disclose any medical, physical, intellectual, social, or emotional issues affecting their child's participation, including pre-existing injuries or allergies.
A responsible adult must remain on site during the session. The City of Ryde reserves the right to photograph participants for promotional use.
If you cannot attend after booking, please cancel promptly via the booking platform to allow others to participate. Failure to attend without cancellation may result in restrictions on future bookings.
