Discover a welcoming and inclusive environment where creativity knows no bounds. This session encourages imaginative play through various artistic mediums, perfect for children of all abilities. Your child will explore painting, drawing, and sketching under the guidance of an experienced facilitator.
Expect a relaxed and supportive atmosphere that nurtures artistic expression and builds confidence. These sessions are designed to be engaging and fun, helping children develop new skills while enjoying the process of creating art.
Whether your child is a budding artist or just loves to experiment with colors and shapes, this activity offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with others and express themselves creatively.
The sessions run weekly on Fridays from 11:45 to 12:45, starting from 6 March 2026 through to 4 December 2026, excluding school holidays. Each session lasts one hour and is suitable for children who enjoy hands-on creative activities.
The facilitator will provide all necessary materials and guide participants through a variety of art techniques, encouraging exploration and personal expression. This is a play-based program, so children are free to experiment and have fun.
Please note the program does not operate during school holiday periods, so plan accordingly to avoid missing out.
The sessions take place at the Longbeach Learning and Activity Centre, located at 15 Chelsea Rd, Chelsea 3196. This accessible venue is well-equipped to support participants of all abilities.
We encourage families to consider walking, cycling, or using public transport to reach the centre, helping to reduce parking demand and promote sustainability.
The centre is easy to find and offers a friendly community atmosphere, making it a convenient and welcoming place for your child to explore their creativity.
This program is designed to be inclusive and supportive of all abilities, ensuring every child feels comfortable and valued. Parents and carers are welcome to stay and participate or observe.
Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time for settling in and preparation. If your child has any specific needs or requires assistance, please inform the organisers in advance.
The sessions are not held during school holidays, so check the schedule carefully to plan your attendance.
The cost to attend each session is $15, which covers all materials and facilitation. Booking in advance is recommended as spaces may be limited.
