What to Expect
Experience a solemn and respectful ANZAC Day Commemoration Service held in Memorial Park, Mosman Park. This event honors the brave Australians who have served in conflicts both regionally and globally. Families and community members gather to remember and reflect on the sacrifices made.
The service includes a formal ceremony conducted by the Town of Mosman Park in partnership with the Mosman Park Sub-Branch of the RSL. After the service, attendees are invited to enjoy tea, coffee, and biscuits, providing a warm community atmosphere.
Seating is provided on the lawn, but you are welcome to bring your own seating if preferred. The event is alcohol-free and dog-friendly, with dogs required to be on a lead at all times.
Activity Details
The ANZAC Day Commemoration Service will take place on April 25, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 in the morning. The ceremony includes a 'Laying of the Wreaths' segment where attendees may participate by bringing their own wreaths.
Accessible toilets are available inside the Town of Mosman Park Administration Building, and the event is designed to be inclusive and respectful for all attendees. The event is free to the community.
Please note that wreaths must be organized by individuals; the Town or RSL will not provide them. The event encourages respectful behavior and remembrance.
Location and Access
The event is held at Memorial Park, located at the corner of Bay View Terrace and Memorial Drive, Mosman Park. The Town encourages walking, cycling, or carpooling due to limited parking.
Public transport options include Transperth Bus Route 107, stopping at Palmerston Street. Bike racks are available at the Town’s Administration Building for cyclists.
Car parking is limited, with ACROD parking available near the event seating. Additional parking can be found at Jabe Dodd Park and Johnson Parade, though some walking with gradients is required. Please avoid parking on the lawn of Memorial Park.
Important Information
This is an alcohol-free event to maintain a respectful atmosphere. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
