Every year on Anzac Day, Australians come together to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. This solemn day is marked with dawn services, marches, and memorial ceremonies throughout the Moreton Bay region, providing a meaningful opportunity for families to reflect and remember.
Experience heartfelt dawn services beginning early in the morning, followed by main service marches and commemorations at various locations including Beachmere, Bribie Island, Caboolture, Redcliffe, and more. Each service features traditional elements such as the Ode of Remembrance and wreath laying, fostering a respectful and reflective atmosphere for all ages.
Participants can expect community gatherings that are inclusive and welcoming, with opportunities for veterans, families, and local groups to pay tribute. The events are designed to engage school-aged children and their parents, helping to educate the younger generation about the significance of Anzac Day.
