What to Expect
These lively cooking workshops are designed especially for children aged 6 to 9, offering a playful and relaxed environment to discover new tastes and culinary skills. Kids will have the chance to roll their own roti bread, create fun pappadum tacos, and fill them with their favourite toppings. A delicious lentil curry will be served alongside the roti, making lunch a tasty and interactive experience.
Each session encourages little chefs to build confidence in the kitchen while having a great time with peers. The workshops are perfect for introducing children to diverse flavours and cooking techniques in a supportive setting.
Activity Details
Workshops run over two days during the April school holidays, with sessions on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th April from 10:30am to 12:30pm. Each session accommodates up to 20 children, ensuring plenty of attention and hands-on guidance.
Every child will receive their own chef’s hat, a Lankan Tucker apron, and a water bottle to take home, making the experience memorable and practical. The age group is strictly 6 to 9 years old, so the activities are tailored to suit their skills and interests.
