Discover a delightful blend of reading and creativity designed especially for children aged 5 to 10. This engaging after school series invites young minds to explore popular children's stories and express their understanding through mixed media art. Each session promises a unique artwork for your child to proudly take home.
Children will immerse themselves in storytelling followed by hands-on art activities that bring the stories to life. The program encourages creativity, literacy development, and connection with peers in a supportive environment. All materials and equipment are provided, ensuring a hassle-free experience for parents.
The event runs for one hour, from 16:00 to 17:00, on Thursday, 20 August 2026. It is designed for children aged 5-10 years. Parents or guardians of participants aged 12 and under must remain in the library during the session. Booking is essential due to limited places, and late arrivals may lose their spot to standby attendees.
Held at South Hurstville Library, located at the corner of Short and Allen Streets, South Hurstville, this accessible venue welcomes families to a friendly community space. The library is committed to inclusivity and encourages attendees to communicate any support needs in advance.
Please ensure to cancel your booking at least three hours before the event if unable to attend to avoid future booking refusals. The library does not endorse any products used during the workshop.
