What to Expect
Dive into the tactile world of clay with artist Wong Ching Yee (Jenny) in this engaging workshop designed for beginners and curious creatives alike. You'll explore foundational hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab building, discovering the many expressive possibilities clay offers.
This session is all about experimentation and play, with no expectation of finished kiln-fired products to take home. Instead, participants will collaborate on a site-responsive, ephemeral installation using their clay creations, making for a unique collective art experience.
Jenny will also share insights from her studio practice, blending practical tips with philosophical reflections on the material and its cultural significance.
