What to Expect
Step inside an exciting new residency project that invites you to experience art in unexpected ways. Renee Kire transforms the Museum of Brisbane’s entryway with vibrant vinyl graphics and sculptural timber elements, creating an immersive pathway across walls and ceilings. This joyful and thought-provoking artwork draws inspiration from Minimalism, reinterpreted through a contemporary feminist lens, highlighting women's contributions to art.
Visitors of all ages will enjoy bright, colourful, and welcoming installations that encourage slowing down and discovering new perspectives. The design responds to the architecture of the Museum, City Hall, and Brisbane cityscape, revealing unexpected connections between built environments and abstract forms.
