Dive into a creative and eco-friendly art experience where children aged 6 to 12 and their accompanying adults build colourful cardboard robots. Inspired by the unique ceramic robot RX78-2 from the White Rabbit Collection, this workshop blends traditional techniques with futuristic sci-fi fun.
Expect a hands-on session filled with imaginative exploration of materials and artistic techniques, perfect for sparking your child's creativity and curiosity about robotics and art.
This workshop is designed to be engaging for both kids and adults, making it a wonderful family bonding activity.
Join guest artist Mark du Potiers on Saturday, 13 June 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at HOTA Gallery. The session focuses on sustainable art practices using cardboard and other unlikely materials to create unique robot artworks.
Children must be accompanied by an adult or carer at all times to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
The workshop fee is $20, which includes participation for both the child and their accompanying adult.
