What to Expect
Experience a delightful outdoor storytime designed especially for toddlers aged 18 months to 3 years and their caregivers. This event blends engaging stories and songs with hands-on sensory nature play, creating a magical environment for little ones to explore and learn.
Led by Kimberly Hill from Sensory Nature Play, children will have the opportunity to create something special to take home, making this a memorable and interactive experience.

Activity Details
This free event runs on Monday, 23 March 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Bookings are essential and must be made for children only, not adults.
Participants should come prepared for outdoor conditions, including wet weather gear and a change of clothes, as children may get dirty during nature play activities.
An emergency contact form is required for all attendees for safety and insurance purposes; this can be obtained by emailing Caroline at the Burnside Library.
Location and Access
The storytime takes place at Laurel Avenue Community Garden, also known as Peter Bennett Organic Community Garden, located at 31 Laurel Avenue, Linden Park, 5065.
Please note that parking near the garden is limited, so be prepared for a short walk. There are no toilets on-site, but facilities are available nearby at Trengenza Oval, approximately 150 meters away.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own food (nut-free), water, sunscreen, and hats to ensure comfort throughout the event.
