What to Expect

Experience a fun and interactive storytelling session designed to support early literacy development in both Auslan and written English. These sessions are led by Deaf Connect and are tailored especially for deaf and hard of hearing children, but warmly welcome everyone.

Whether you are a family with children who have used baby sign language, someone wanting to practice Auslan skills, or simply curious about Auslan, this is the perfect opportunity. No prior experience or knowledge of Auslan is needed.

Activity Details

The sessions run fortnightly on Saturdays during Term 3, starting at 10:15 AM and finishing at 10:45 AM. The upcoming dates include 19 July, 2 August, 16 August, 30 August, and 13 September 2025.

Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes, making it a perfect weekend activity that fits easily into your family’s schedule.

Bookings are recommended but not essential, allowing flexibility for busy parents and carers.
