Enjoy a fun-filled session featuring bird-themed story reading, lively bird songs, and creative bird craft activities. Afterward, children will become Citizen Scientists, putting on their bird watching hats to observe and count local birds, contributing to a nationwide conservation effort.
This event is part of Birdlife Australia's Aussie Bird Count, a citizen science project helping to gather important data on Australia's bird populations. All materials and equipment are provided, ensuring a hands-on and educational experience. Parents or guardians must accompany children, with a maximum ratio of one adult to four children.
