What to Expect

Join us for a fun and engaging program of rhymes, songs, stories, and music in Czech language, designed for children aged 0–5 years and their parents or carers. This is a great opportunity for your little ones to immerse themselves in the Czech language and culture, while also developing their early literacy skills.

Activity Details

Each session will include a variety of activities, such as:

- Singing Czech nursery rhymes and songs

- Reading Czech stories

- Playing Czech language games

- Making Czech-themed crafts

The program is led by experienced and enthusiastic Czech-speaking librarians who are passionate about sharing their love of language and culture with young children.

Location and Access

The program takes place at the Lionel Bowen Library in Maroubra. The library is located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. It is easily accessible by public transport, with buses stopping right outside the library. There is also plenty of street parking available.

- Bookings are essential and can be made online through Eventbrite.

- All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to check in.

- Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, latecomers will not be admitted to the room after the start time.

- If possible, please leave your prams at home as space is limited.
