Babies Love Books in Czech - Čteme s dětmi

A monthly program of rhymes, songs, stories and music in Czech language for children aged 0–5 years and their parents or carers.

What to Expect

Join us for a fun and interactive session of rhymes, songs, stories, and music in Czech. This program is designed for children aged 0-5 years and their parents or carers. It's a great way to introduce your little ones to the Czech language and culture while also fostering their love of reading.

Activity Details

Each session will include a variety of activities, such as:

- Singing Czech nursery rhymes

- Reading Czech stories

- Listening to Czech music

- Playing Czech games

We'll also have a special guest reader each month who will share their favorite Czech stories and songs.

Location and Access

The program will be held at the Lionel Bowen Library in Maroubra. The library is located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. It is easily accessible by public transport and there is plenty of street parking available.

Important Information

- Bookings are essential and can be made online.

- All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to check in.

- Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.

- If possible, please leave your prams at home as space is limited.
