What to Expect

Each session offers a warm and welcoming environment where children can experience the joy of French culture through interactive storytelling and songs. The program runs every month on the first Wednesday, encouraging regular attendance and ongoing learning.

Activity Details

- Suitable for children aged 0-5 years and their parents/carers.

- Sessions last 30 minutes, from 10:45 to 11:15.

- Held monthly on the first Wednesday, with dates from February to December 2025 (except July).

- Bookings are essential and must be made online for each session.

- Library membership is required but free and easy to obtain.

Location and Access

The program takes place at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. The library is accessible by public transport and offers a friendly community space. Parents are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early to allow for check-in and to ensure the session starts promptly. Due to limited space, it is recommended to leave prams at home if possible.

Important Information

Health and safety are paramount, with Covid-safe measures in place. All children must be supervised by a parent or carer at all times. Late arrivals cannot be admitted to avoid disruption. Tickets are non-transferable, and cancellations should be made promptly to allow others to attend. Attendees may be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes; notify staff if you do not consent.

Booking and Prices

Attendance is free, but bookings are essential and can be made via Eventbrite. Each session requires a separate booking, and if a session is fully booked, it will not appear as available.
