What to Expect

Each session offers a lively and interactive experience where children can listen to French songs, participate in rhymes, and enjoy captivating stories. The program is tailored to keep young children entertained and engaged while supporting their early development and love for languages. Parents and carers are encouraged to join in and help create a joyful atmosphere.

Activity Details

- Age group: 0-5 years

- Frequency: Monthly, on the first Wednesday of each month

- Duration: 30 minutes (10:45 am to 11:15 am)

- Language: French

- Sessions run from February 2025 through December 2025, with no session in July

Location and Access

The program takes place at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. The library is accessible by public transport and offers a welcoming community space for families. Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and settling in before the session begins.

Important Information

Bookings are essential for each session and must be made online through Eventbrite. Only registered children can attend, and all must be accompanied by a parent or carer. Library membership is required to participate but is free and easy to obtain online or at any branch. Due to limited space, prams are discouraged if possible. Late arrivals cannot be admitted to ensure the session runs smoothly. Covid-19 safety measures are in place and subject to change.
