Babies Love Books - Lionel Bowen Library (0-12 months, 2025)

Come along to enjoy rhymes, songs, and stories with your baby! Babies Love Books is a weekly program dedicated to promoting early literacy skills and nurturing a love of books for little babies 0-12 months old.

What to Expect

Babies Love Books is a fun and welcoming session held every Thursday apart from school holidays and public holidays. It's a great opportunity for you and your little one to bond over books, songs, and rhymes. The sessions are led by experienced librarians who will help you choose the perfect books for your baby's age and interests.

Activity Details

Each session includes:

- A selection of age-appropriate books

- Interactive songs and rhymes

- A chance to meet other parents and babies

- A free book to take home

Location and Access

The sessions are held at Lionel Bowen Library, which is located at 669-673 Anzac Pde, Maroubra. The library is easily accessible by public transport and there is plenty of street parking available.

Important Information

- Bookings are essential and can be made online or by calling the library on 9093 6400.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

- Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.

- Your ticket can be cancelled by the organiser at any time without further notice.

- Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Booking and Prices

The event is free. Bookings open one week in advance. If your preferred session is not visible, it means that the event is fully booked. To ensure the enjoyment of all participants, places are strictly limited and latecomers will not be admitted. There is a limit of one session per child per week across our library branches.
