What to Expect

Join us for a fun and welcoming session of rhymes, songs, and stories designed to promote early literacy skills and nurture a love of books in little babies aged 0-12 months. This is a great opportunity for you and your baby to bond, interact with other parents and babies, and discover the joy of reading together.

Activity Details

- Babies Love Books is a weekly program held every Thursday, excluding school holidays and public holidays.

- The sessions are free to attend, but bookings are essential and open one week in advance.

- Each session runs for 30 minutes, from 10 am to 10.30 am.

- There is a limit of one session per child per week across all library branches.

- To ensure the enjoyment of all participants, places are strictly limited, and latecomers will not be admitted.

Location and Access

- The sessions are held at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Pde, Maroubra.

- Please leave your prams at home as space is limited.

Important Information

- Bookings are essential and can be made through the Eventbrite link provided.

- Please note that this event will not run on 17 April, 24 April, 10 July, 17 July, 2 October, 9 October, and 25 December.

- All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

- Due to safety and enjoyment considerations, latecomers will not be admitted to the room after the start time.

- Your ticket can be canceled by the organizer at any time without further notice.
