Come along to enjoy rhymes, songs, and stories with your baby! This fun and welcoming session is held every Thursday apart from school holidays and public holidays.


What to Expect

Join us for a fun and interactive session of rhymes, songs, and stories designed to promote early literacy skills and nurture a love of books in little babies aged 0-12 months. This is a great opportunity for you and your baby to bond, make new friends, and discover the joy of reading together.

Activity Details

- Babies Love Books is a weekly program held every Thursday (except during school holidays and public holidays) at Lionel Bowen Library in Maroubra.

- The sessions are free to attend, but bookings are essential as places are limited.

- Each session runs for 30 minutes and includes a variety of activities such as singing, storytelling, and interactive play.

- The library provides a welcoming and comfortable space for you and your baby to enjoy the session.

Location and Access

- Lionel Bowen Library is located at 669-673 Anzac Pde, Maroubra.

- The library is easily accessible by public transport, with buses stopping right outside the door.

- There is also ample street parking available in the surrounding area.

Important Information

- Please note that this event will not run on the following dates: 17 April, 24 April, 10 July, 17 July, 2 October, 9 October, and 25 December.

- Please leave your prams at home as space is limited.

- Bookings are essential and can be made online through Eventbrite.

- Bookings open one week in advance, so be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
