Babies Love Books - Lionel Bowen Library (0-12 months)
Come along to enjoy rhymes, songs, and stories with your baby! Babies Love Books is a weekly program dedicated to promoting early literacy skills and nurturing a love of books for little babies 0-12 months old.
What to Expect
Join us for a fun and welcoming session of rhymes, songs, and stories designed to promote early literacy skills and nurture a love of books in little babies aged 0-12 months. This is a great opportunity for your baby to interact with other babies and adults, and to develop their language and social skills.
Activity Details
The Babies Love Books program is held every Thursday, apart from school holidays and public holidays. Each session runs for 30 minutes and includes a variety of activities, such as:
- Singing nursery rhymes
- Reading stories
- Playing with puppets
- Making simple crafts
Location and Access
The program is held at the Lionel Bowen Library in Maroubra. The library is located at 669-673 Anzac Pde, Maroubra. There is plenty of street parking available in the surrounding area.
Important Information
- Bookings are essential and can be made online through Eventbrite.
- Bookings open one week in advance.
- There is a limit of one session per child per week across all library branches.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.
- Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.
- Please leave your prams at home as space is limited.
