What to Expect

Babies Love Books is a weekly program dedicated to promoting early literacy skills and nurturing a love of books for little babies 0-12 months old. Each session includes a variety of fun and engaging activities, such as:

- Interactive storytelling

- Singing and dancing

- Sensory play

- Rhyme time

- Book exploration

Activity Details

- Babies Love Books is a free program.

- The sessions are held every Friday from 10 am to 10.30 am.

- The program is suitable for babies aged 0-12 months.

- Bookings are essential and can be made online.

- Please note that this event will not run on 18 April, 25 April, 11 July, 18 July, 3 October and 10 October.

Location and Access

The sessions are held at the Margaret Martin Library, which is located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre, Belmore Road, Randwick.

The library is easily accessible by public transport, with buses stopping right outside the door. There is also plenty of street parking available.

Important Information

- Please leave your prams at home as space is limited.

- All children must have parental supervision.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

- Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.

- Your ticket can be cancelled by the organiser at any time without further notice.

Booking and Prices

The event is free. You must book into each session you wish to attend. Bookings open one week in advance. If your preferred session is not visible, it means that the event is fully booked. To ensure the enjoyment of all participants, places are strictly limited and latecomers will not be admitted. There is a limit of one session per child per week across our library branches.
