What to Expect

Join us for a fun and welcoming session of rhymes, songs, and stories designed to promote early literacy skills and nurture a love of books in little babies aged 0-12 months. This is a great opportunity for you and your baby to bond, share some laughs, and discover the joy of reading together.

Activity Details

- Babies Love Books is a weekly program held every Friday, except during school holidays and public holidays.

- The sessions are free to attend, but bookings are essential.

- Bookings open one week in advance, and you can book into each session you wish to attend.

- There is a limit of one session per child per week across all library branches.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

- Due to safety and enjoyment of participants, latecomers will not be admitted to the room after the start time.

Location and Access

The sessions are held at the Margaret Martin Library, which is located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre on Belmore Road in Randwick.

Important Information

- Please leave your prams at home as space is limited.

- Bookings are essential. Only children (and their siblings) attending the activity need to be booked in.

- We are unable to accommodate children without a valid ticket.

- All children must have parental supervision.

- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible so that others can participate.

- Your ticket can be canceled by the organizer at any time without further notice.

- Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings.
