This engaging baby first aid session is designed especially for parents and carers of infants and small children. You will gain confidence in handling common emergencies with practical, easy-to-learn techniques.
The session covers vital skills such as CPR, choking response, and how to manage febrile convulsions. It’s a supportive environment where you can ask questions and practice what you learn.
By the end, you’ll feel empowered to act quickly and calmly in an emergency involving your little ones.
The training includes instruction on the DRSABCD action plan, how to perform CPR on babies, and placing a child in the recovery position. You will also learn how to recognise and respond to choking and febrile convulsions.
The session lasts 1.5 hours, providing ample time for demonstrations and hands-on practice. It is suitable for all parents and guardians.
The course is delivered by Life Saving First Aid professionals, ensuring expert guidance and up-to-date techniques.
The event takes place at Glen Eira Town Hall, in the Caulfield Cup Room, located at the corner of Glen Eira and Hawthorn Road, Caulfield.
