Basketball (7-12 years) - Term 3 2025

What to Expect

The sessions run weekly over eight weeks, providing consistent practice and skill development. Each hour-long class includes drills, games, and coaching tailored to beginner and intermediate players. Children will have fun while improving their coordination, ball handling, and understanding of basketball fundamentals.

Activity Details

- Duration: 8 weeks, from Tuesday 29 July to Tuesday 16 September 2025

- Time: 16:00 to 17:00 each Tuesday

- Suitable for children aged 7 to 12 years

- Cost: $2 per session or $16 for the full term

Location and Access

The program takes place at West Sunshine Community Centre, located at 25 Kermeen Street, West Sunshine. The centre is accessible by public transport and has parking facilities. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the venue on time and ensure they wear comfortable clothing and runners.

Important Information

Participants should bring a drink bottle to stay hydrated during the session. The program respects and acknowledges the Wurundjeri and Bunurong Peoples as Traditional Custodians of the land. This is a safe, inclusive environment where all children are welcome to participate and enjoy basketball.
