Get ready to bring your best beats and performances to the stage at the Battle of the Beats 2026 auditions. This exciting event invites young musicians, beat producers, garage bands, and freestyle performers to showcase their creativity and musical skills. Whether you're a solo artist or part of a group, this is your chance to shine and win prizes.
You can audition live or submit a video, giving you flexibility to participate in a way that suits you best. The competition will be judged on creativity, showmanship, musicality, and crowd engagement, ensuring a dynamic and thrilling experience for all.
The top acts will be selected to perform at the biggest Youth Week event in Canterbury-Bankstown, where you can compete for a share of a $2500 prize pool.
Auditions take place on Saturday, 7 March 2026, starting at 13:00 at the Belmore Youth Resource Centre. If you prefer, you can send in your audition video by Friday, 27 February 2026. The final performance event will be held on Friday, 17 April 2026, from 14:00 to 19:00.
This event is free to enter and open to all young people eager to showcase their musical talents. It's a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure, connect with other young artists, and be part of a vibrant community celebration.
The auditions will be held at the Belmore Youth Resource Centre, located at 38-40 Redman Parade, Belmore 2192. The venue is accessible by public transport and offers a welcoming environment for young performers and their families.
Parking options are available nearby, and the centre is equipped to support participants with any special needs. The location is central within Canterbury-Bankstown, making it easy for local youth to attend.
Please prepare your performance to fit within the audition time limits and bring any necessary equipment or backing tracks. Video submissions must be received by 27 February 2026 to be considered.
Judging criteria include creativity, showmanship, musicality, and crowd engagement, so bring your energy and passion to impress the panel.
This is a free event, but spaces may be limited, so early application is encouraged to secure your spot.
