What to Expect
Discover the joy of sewing and upcycling in this engaging beginner series designed for adults and seniors. You'll learn how to refashion everyday items like tea towels and old shirts into fashionable and functional wardrobe pieces. This is a perfect opportunity to embrace slow fashion and reduce textile waste while developing new skills.
Each session offers a creative challenge guided by Kathryn, a self-taught costume designer passionate about sustainable fashion. Expect a friendly, supportive environment where imagination and hands-on practice come together.
Bring your own large shirts and skirts or dresses for the later workshops, and enjoy the satisfaction of turning preloved clothing into something uniquely yours.
