Over the course, you’ll learn essential ukulele skills including how to hold and tune your instrument, basic chords, strumming patterns, and how to play along with simple songs. The focus is on participation and enjoyment, allowing you to learn at your own pace while making music together with others. Bring your own ukulele or borrow one from the limited supply available.

You’ll also learn a few fun songs to take away and keep playing. Location and Access
Held at The Summit Community Centre, 4 Crescent Dr, Norton Summit SA 5136, the venue offers accessible facilities including disabled parking, toilets, baby change table, and a fully equipped kitchen. Parking is limited, so carpooling or parking along Crescent Drive and nearby locations is recommended. The centre is inclusive and welcoming to all, including LGBTQI+ community members.
Important Information
The course runs on 2026-05-26 from 18:00 to 20:00. Please bring your own ukulele if possible; otherwise, select the option to borrow one when booking. The centre may close and cancel classes during extreme fire danger ratings, with refunds or rescheduling offered. Evening attendees are advised to bring a torch and dress for cooler weather.
