What to Expect
Experience a vibrant community event that brings together people of all ages and fitness levels for a fun and active day at Bibra Lake. Whether you're a competitive runner, casual jogger, or prefer to stroll with family and pets, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy a lively atmosphere with entertainment, a free sausage sizzle, and engaging activities for the whole family.
Participants can choose between a 6km or 12km course that winds around the scenic Bibra Lake, offering a perfect blend of nature and fitness. The event welcomes wheelchair rollers, pram pushers, and walkers with pets on leads, ensuring inclusivity.
Activity Details
The event kicks off with a Zumba warm-up session at 8:00am, followed by the run start at 8:30am. Prizes are awarded across five age categories for both the 6km and 12km courses, including cash and vouchers. Schools can compete for additional prizes by fielding the largest teams.
Entertainment includes encounters with reptiles from WA Wildlife, BMX demonstrations, surf life saving club activities, Boogie Bounce sessions, creative kids’ play, DJ music, and more. Registration is free but essential for timed runs.
Location and Access
Held at the Bibra Lake Reserve, the event starts at the corner of Gwilliam and Progress Drives, Bibra Lake. Ample free parking is available at the Adventure World car park nearby. Note that road closures will be in effect from 9pm on Saturday 12 September until 10am on Sunday 13 September to ensure participant safety.
The venue includes accessible features such as in-map voice and color choice options for those who need them. Facilities include first-aid, playground, public toilets, water refill stations, and free parking.
Important Information
Participants should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, and suitable walking or running shoes. Refreshments are available with a free sausage sizzle after the race. The event is family-friendly and suitable for all ages.

Booking and Prices
The Bibra Lake Fun Run is free to enter, with registration required for timed runs. Register by midday Friday 4 September 2026 to enter a draw to win one of two six-month Cockburn ARC Lifestyle Active memberships valued at over $550 each.
Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in various age categories, with additional cash prizes for overall winners and largest school teams.
