Spend a day outdoors exploring the diverse flora and fauna of the Croom area. You’ll have the chance to learn about native species, participate in guided identification sessions, and contribute to real scientific data collection. This is a fantastic opportunity for parents and children to connect with nature and each other.
The event includes a Native Plant ID Session on Friday, November 6, 2026, starting at 09:30. This session will help you recognize and understand the native plants in the region. Activities are designed to be family-friendly and educational, encouraging hands-on learning and discovery.
BioBlitz@Croom takes place in the Croom area, easily accessible for families in the Shellharbour region. The outdoor setting provides a safe and engaging environment for children to explore nature. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
