What to Expect
Experience the joy of running through the beautiful bushlands of Nurragingy Reserve, a perfect outdoor setting for families and fitness enthusiasts alike. This event offers a unique chance to explore natural landscapes, including the Aboriginal heritage garden and the Chang Lai Yuan Chinese gardens.
Participants can choose between a 5 km run starting at 7:15 AM or a 2.5 km run starting at 8:00 AM. Everyone who finishes will receive a medal, and there are prizes for the best dressed runners, adding a fun and festive spirit to the day.
Along the route and at the finish line, enjoy a variety of engaging activities such as chalk art, cultural drumming, bubbles, pop-up music, Chinese flute performances, didgeridoo sounds, a fun tunnel, and an obstacle course, making it a memorable day for kids and adults alike.

Registration fees are $5 for kids aged 3 to 15 years, $10 for adults 16 years and over, and $25 for a family package (2 adults and 2 kids). This affordable pricing ensures that everyone can join in the fun and support community health and wellness.
Please note that the course measurement may not be exact on the day, so participants should be prepared for a fun and flexible running experience.
Location and Access
The fun run starts at Boronia Reserve within Nurragingy Reserve, located on Knox Road, Doonside, NSW 2767. This scenic reserve offers ample space and facilities suitable for families and groups.
Parking is available nearby, and the area is accessible by car. Participants are encouraged to plan their travel in advance to ensure a smooth arrival and departure.
