What to Expect

The market features a lively atmosphere with stalls showcasing original and affordable Aboriginal creations. Visitors can enjoy cultural experiences including dance performances by the Wagana Dancers, singing, and interactive weaving workshops suitable for all ages. Kids can participate in dedicated workshops designed to engage and educate.

Activity Details

The market opens at 10:00 and runs until 16:00. The program includes a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony at 10:30, dance performances at 10:45 and 13:30, free weaving workshops from 11:00 to 15:30, and a kids workshop at 12:00. The event is family-friendly and encourages community participation.

Held at Dawes Point Park, located at the corner of Lower Fort Street and George Street under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge, the venue is easily accessible by public transport and offers a scenic setting for the market and cultural festivities.
