Games featured include Wingspan with the Oceania expansion, Ark Nova, and many others that challenge your strategic thinking while educating about the environment.
This drop-in style event runs from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, allowing you to come and go as you please. It's designed for all ages, though the games are tailored for players aged 10 and up, with some games recommended for older teens.
You will find a variety of games such as Aqua, Undergrove, Comet, and Ecosystem, each with unique gameplay focused on ecological themes. The event encourages respectful interaction and care for the environment.
Parents and carers must accompany children under 18 and are responsible for their safety throughout the event. The event is casual and social, perfect for a relaxed afternoon or early evening.
The event takes place inside the City of Melville EcoHub, located at 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop, within the Piney Lakes Reserve. Accessible parking is available at the front of the EcoHub.
The venue is mostly sitting and accessible via ramps with toilets on site. A nearby bus stop just a 2-minute walk away services multiple routes, making public transport a convenient option.
Directions: If heading westbound on Leach Highway, take the first left after Murdoch Drive. From Fremantle, use the designated U-turn after Murdoch Drive to access westbound lanes and park in the signed public carpark.
All attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible parent or carer who is responsible for their safety. The event is family-friendly but games are best suited for teens and adults with some experience.
Guests are expected to be respectful to each other and the environment. The event space is eco-friendly and encourages sustainable practices.
