Come for the books, stay for the conversation, and leave with new friends and a fresh reading list! This is not your typical book club—there are no set books to read. Bring along whatever you’re currently enjoying, a beloved favourite, or simply come to listen, chat, and get inspired.
It’s a welcoming space where you can meet fellow readers, exchange recommendations, and explore a variety of genres and authors in a casual, friendly atmosphere.
Whether you’re an avid reader or just dipping your toes into the literary world, this session offers a warm and engaging environment for all.
Book Chat takes place on the first Tuesday of every month from 15:00 to 16:00 at Albert Park Library. The sessions are wheelchair accessible, ensuring everyone can participate comfortably.
There are no formal requirements or reading lists, so you can join in whenever you like without any pressure.
Library staff are on hand to offer recommendations and support your reading journey.
The event is held at Albert Park Library, a welcoming community space within the City of Port Phillip.
