Dive into a world of imagination at Gumeracha Library where children aged 7-12 can design and build their own miniature diorama inside a box. This hands-on activity encourages creativity and storytelling as kids bring their favourite book scenes to life in three dimensions.
Each participant will create a secret miniature world or scene that can be viewed through a peephole, making it a unique and personal art piece. This is a perfect way to engage children during the school holidays, combining art, craft, and literature.
Parents can relax in the library while their children immerse themselves in this fun and educational experience.
This event takes place on 16 July 2026 from 13:00 to 14:30 at Gumeracha Library. Tickets are required for each child participating, and accompanying adults are asked to remain in the library during the session.
Spaces are limited and tend to book out quickly, so early booking is recommended. If you are unable to attend, please contact the library to free up your spot for others on the waitlist.
Please note that the event is subject to cancellation on days with high fire danger ratings as per local regulations.
