Dive into the world of creative writing with Deb Fitzpatrick, an acclaimed author who loves inspiring young minds. This engaging session focuses on how real-life experiences fuel imaginative fiction, especially through her adventure-in-nature books like Tawny Trouble and The Amazing Spencer Gray. Children will be encouraged to explore their own stories through fun and interactive writing activities.
This event is perfect for Stage 2 and Stage 3 students (ages 8-12), but all are welcome to join and be inspired. The session is designed to spark creativity and build confidence in writing.
The session will be held online via Zoom, lasting 45 minutes from 10:00 to 10:45. After registering, participants will receive a Zoom link to join the live event. Deb Fitzpatrick will guide students through short writing exercises that help them reflect on and write about events from their own lives.
