What to Expect

Bop 2 Books is a lively and engaging program designed for toddlers and their parents or carers. Each session is filled with interactive rhymes, captivating stories, and toe-tapping music that will ignite your child's imagination and foster their love for language and literature.

Activity Details

- Bop 2 Books is a weekly program held every Wednesday, except for the first Wednesday of each month when Spark in the Park takes place, and during school holidays.

- The program runs from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, providing ample time for your little one to engage in the activities and socialize with other children.

- To ensure a personalized and enjoyable experience, places are strictly limited. Latecomers will not be admitted to maintain a conducive learning environment.

- Please note that there is a limit of one session per child per week across all library branches.

Location and Access

Lionel Bowen Library is conveniently located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. It is easily accessible by public transport, with buses stopping nearby. There is also ample street parking available in the surrounding area.

- Bookings are essential for each session you wish to attend. Bookings open one week in advance. If your preferred session is not visible, it means that the event is fully booked.

- To ensure fairness and inclusivity, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible if you are unable to attend, allowing others to participate.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time and avoid any disruptions.

- Due to safety and enjoyment of participants, latecomers will not be admitted to the room after the start time.

- Please leave your prams at home as space is limited.

- Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings. Images may be used for promotional purposes on council's websites, publications, social media or by newspapers. By attending this session, you agree to these terms. If you do not wish your image (or the image of your child) to be published, please notify staff before the event.
