What to Expect

Bop 2 Books is a lively and interactive program designed for toddlers and their parents or carers. Each session includes a mix of engaging activities such as:

- Interactive storytelling with captivating books

- Energetic and fun action songs

- Lively rhymes and fingerplays

- Musical instrument exploration

- Sensory play

These activities are carefully curated to foster language development, imagination, and social skills in young children.

Activity Details

Bop 2 Books is a weekly program that runs every Wednesday, except for the first Wednesday of each month when Spark in the Park is held, and during school holidays. Each session lasts for 30 minutes and is tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers aged between 24 and 36 months.

Location and Access

The program is held at the Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. The library is easily accessible by public transport, with buses stopping nearby. There is also ample street parking available in the surrounding area.

Important Information

- Bookings are essential and open one week in advance.

- Places are strictly limited to ensure the enjoyment of all participants, and latecomers will not be admitted.

- There is a limit of one session per child per week across all library branches.

- Please leave your prams at home as space is limited.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

- Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, latecomers will not be admitted to the room after the start time.

- Your ticket can be cancelled by the organiser at any time without further notice.

- Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings.
