What to Expect

Join us for Bop 2 Books, a weekly program for children aged between 24 - 36 months. This engaging program features a variety of activities designed to stimulate young minds and encourage a love of reading. Your little ones will enjoy interactive rhymes, lively music, and captivating stories that will spark their imagination and foster their language development.

Activity Details

Each Bop 2 Books session is carefully planned to provide a fun and educational experience for both children and their parents or carers. Our experienced facilitators will lead the group through a range of activities, including:

- Interactive rhymes and songs that encourage language development and rhythm

- Engaging stories that introduce new vocabulary and concepts

- Sensory play activities that stimulate creativity and imagination

- Opportunities for socialization and interaction with other children and parents

Location and Access

Lionel Bowen Library is conveniently located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. The library is easily accessible by public transport, with bus stops located nearby. There is also ample street parking available in the surrounding area.

- Bookings are essential for this program. Bookings open one week in advance.

- Please leave your prams at home as space is limited.

- All children must have parental supervision.

- Limited to one session per child per week across our library branches.

- This event is for library members. Membership is free and you can join online now or at any branch.

- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the event.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

- Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.
