What to Expect

Bop 2 Books is a fun and interactive program designed for toddlers and their parents or carers. Each week, children will enjoy a variety of activities, including:

- Singing and dancing to nursery rhymes

- Listening to stories and poems

- Playing with musical instruments

- Making simple crafts

These activities are a great way for children to develop their language skills, social skills, and creativity.

Activity Details

Bop 2 Books is held every Tuesday from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at the Margaret Martin Library in Randwick. The program is free to attend, but bookings are essential. Bookings open one week in advance and can be made online through Eventbrite.

Location and Access

The Margaret Martin Library is located on Level 1 of the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre, Belmore Road, Randwick. The library is accessible by public transport, with buses stopping nearby. There is also limited street parking available.

Important Information

- Please note that this event will not run on April 15, April 22, July 8, July 15, October 7, December 23 and December 30.

- Please leave your prams at home as space is limited.

- Bookings are essential. Only children (and their siblings) attending the activity need to be booked in.

- We are unable to accommodate children without a valid ticket.

- All children must have parental supervision.

- Limited to one session per child per week across our library branches.

- This event is for library members. Membership is free and you can join online now or at any branch.

- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets as soon as possible. This will enable others to participate in the event.

- Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow the event to run on time.

- Due to the safety and enjoyment of participants, we are unable to admit latecomers to the room after the start time.

- Your ticket can be cancelled by the organiser at any time without further notice.

- Your attendance at events supported by Randwick City Council may be digitally recorded through photographs and/or video recordings.
