What to Expect
Bop 2 Books is a delightful weekly program designed especially for toddlers aged 24 to 36 months. This engaging session combines rhymes, music, and stories to captivate young minds and provide quality bonding time for parents and carers. Each week promises a fun and interactive experience that nurtures early literacy skills in a warm, welcoming environment.
The program runs throughout the year, excluding school and public holidays, ensuring a consistent and enjoyable routine for your little ones. It’s a perfect opportunity to introduce your child to the joy of books and music while meeting other families in the community.
Activity Details
Sessions are held every Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:00 AM at the Margaret Martin Library, located within the Royal Randwick Shopping Centre. The event is free, but bookings are essential and open one week in advance. Due to limited space, only one session per child per week is allowed across library branches, and late arrivals cannot be admitted to maintain a smooth experience for all.
Please note the program will not run on April 14, April 21, July 7, July 14, December 22, and December 29. To maximize comfort and space, prams are not permitted inside the venue.

The sessions take place at the Margaret Martin Library, Level 1, Royal Randwick Shopping Centre, Belmore Road, Randwick. The library is easily accessible and committed to inclusivity. Parking and public transport options are available nearby, making it convenient for families to attend. Arriving 10 minutes early is recommended to settle in before the session starts.
Important Information
Bookings must be made through Eventbrite, and only children with valid tickets can attend. Parental supervision is required throughout the session. Membership to Randwick City Library is free and necessary to participate; you can join online or at any branch.
If you cannot attend, please cancel your booking promptly to allow others to join. The library reserves the right to cancel tickets without notice and requests attendees to review the current Covid Safe Terms and Conditions before arrival.
Photography or video recordings may be taken during the event for promotional use. If you prefer your or your child's image not to be used, please inform staff beforehand.
