From 4:30 pm, engage with experts from Melbourne Water and explore a 3D urban water catchment model. Kids can look at water bugs under microscopes, play frog bingo, decorate rocks, and plant seeds in compostable pots to take home.
Creative souls can paint scenes of the Birrarung River or the Billabong, while moth spotting with the Entomological Society takes place from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Several guided wildlife walks are available by booking, including Krefft’s Glider Hollow Checks, Kids Animal Adventure Walks, and nocturnal insect and spider walks.
These activities are suitable for all ages, with some walks designed specifically for adults or older children. No bookings are required for most activities, making it easy to drop in and enjoy.
