This engaging breastfeeding education class offers expectant parents the opportunity to learn essential skills for successful breastfeeding. Held in a small group, the sessions provide a supportive environment where you can gain confidence and practical knowledge. A local mum with a young baby often demonstrates breastfeeding techniques, making the experience relatable and hands-on.
Breastfeeding is a learned skill for both mother and baby, and this class is designed to help you navigate the early days, weeks, and months after birth. You will receive up-to-date information and insights that build on hospital antenatal classes, preparing you for the journey ahead.
The class runs for approximately three hours and includes interactive discussions and demonstrations. It is suitable for expectant parents who want to be well-prepared for breastfeeding challenges and solutions. Along with the in-person session, you will receive 12 months of Virtual Village membership for ongoing support.
The sessions focus on practical skills to establish breastfeeding and address common challenges, helping you feel empowered and informed. This is an excellent opportunity to connect with other parents and share experiences in a welcoming setting.
