Enjoy a Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country that set a respectful tone for the day. A multi-generational panel of First Nations speakers will share insights into the history and significance of NAIDOC, providing a rich learning experience for adults and children alike.
Children will delight in craft workshops led by the Aunties, face painting by ‘Yarn Strong Sista’, and fun activities hosted by Sydenham Neighbourhood House. There will also be a special performance by Pirritu and a gallery showcasing 50 Years of NAIDOC posters.
