Step into a world of creativity and imagination at Broadbeach Bricks, where LEGO® lovers of all ages come together to build a bustling MegaCity. This free, family-friendly event is perfect for kids and parents looking to enjoy hands-on fun and epic brick-building experiences during the school holidays.
Expect towering skyscrapers, busy construction sites, transport hubs, and futuristic cityscapes brought to life by your own hands. The highlight is the Epic Build, a giant collaborative LEGO® Mega City that grows throughout the week, inviting families to add their own creations to the skyline.
With workshops led by LEGO® Masters Australia Season 2 runners-up, Andrew and Damien, your children will have the chance to learn from the best and create incredible city scenes. Plus, the daily treasure hunt adds an exciting way to explore the precinct and win prizes.
Broadbeach Bricks runs for five days from Monday 13 April to Friday 17 April 2026, each day from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Workshops are held twice daily at 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM, offering one-hour sessions where kids can build alongside LEGO® pros.
The event features a mix of interactive experiences, activations, and a treasure hunt that encourages families to discover hidden codes around Broadbeach Mall. It’s the ultimate school holiday destination for creative play and family fun.
This event is free to attend but bookings are essential to secure your spot in the workshops and activities.
Broadbeach Bricks takes place at Broadbeach Mall, Victoria Avenue, Broadbeach, Queensland 4218. The location is close to the iconic Kurrawa Beach, offering plenty of dining, entertainment, and play areas nearby for families to enjoy after a day of building.
It is recommended to use public transport or active travel options to get there, as parking may be limited. The EasyPark app is suggested for metered parking to avoid fines and make parking management easier.
