Step into a world of magic and fun with your little ones at Budding Bookworms, a delightful weekly event designed especially for preschool-aged children (3-5 years). Enjoy engaging stories, lively sing-alongs, rhymes, wiggly dances, and creative crafts that will spark your child's imagination and joy.
This interactive experience is perfect for families looking to introduce their children to the joys of reading and music in a beautiful garden setting. The friendly volunteers from the Garden and Wollongong City Libraries create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where smiles and laughter abound.
The event runs every Friday morning near the Garden's Japanese Tea House, just west of the Rose Garden, starting at 10:00 am and lasting about 45 minutes. There is no need to book, making it easy to drop in and enjoy a relaxed morning with your child.
In case of bad weather, activities may be moved to the Towri Centre deck or cancelled. Cancellation updates will be posted on the Wollongong Botanic Garden Facebook page, so be sure to check before you come.
