Step into a world of imagination with your little ones at Budding Bookworms, a delightful event designed especially for preschool-aged children. Expect enchanting stories, lively sing-alongs, rhymes, and wiggly dances that will keep your child engaged and smiling.
This event also includes fun craft activities that allow children to express their creativity while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Garden's Japanese Tea House area. It's a perfect way to spend a Friday morning with your family.
The event runs for 45 minutes, starting at 10:00 am, making it a manageable and enjoyable outing for young children and their parents. It is suitable for families with children aged 3 to 5 years.
Presented by dedicated Garden volunteers in partnership with Wollongong City Libraries, this activity is free of charge and does not require bookings, making it easy to join at the last minute.
Budding Bookworms takes place near the Japanese Tea House, located west of the Rose Garden within Wollongong Botanic Garden at 40 Murphys Avenue, Keiraville. The Garden is open daily with ample parking and accessible pathways.
